Renew iPad Wi-Fi

If iPads are having difficulty connecting to the wireless network, not obtaining a valid IP Address from the router could be the cause.  Renewing the connection to the Wi-Fi may resolve the issue.


Renew Lease

1.     Tap Settings icon on iPad

 

 

2.     Tap Wi-Fi option

 

 


a.      Tap name of the wireless network




b.     Tap Renew Lease

 

 


c.      Tap Renew to confirm

 


 

 

·       After renewing lease, iPad should automatically assign valid IP Address and reconnect to network

3.     Test connection by launching web browser and connect to website to ensure internet connection


·       If issue not resolved, proceed to Forget This Network 

 

Forget This Network

1.     Tap Settings icon on iPad

 


2.     Tap Wi-Fi option

 

 

  

a.      Tap name of the wireless network

 

 


b.     Tap Forget This Network

 

 


c.      Reconnect to same network to renew connection

3.     Test connection by launching web browser and connect to website to ensure internet connection
